The Care Quality Commission (CQC) monitors the performance of all social care establishments including Residential Care Homes, Nursing Homes and Domiciliary Care organisations such as Chapter Care.
Chapter Care has an annual inspection by the CQC who review our performance and procedures and interview management, staff and clients about the standards we provide.
They produce an annual inspection report which is available for anyone to review stating what their findings were and highlighting any areas where an organisation is deemed to be non-compliant.
As a Tier 1 provider, working with NDHT, Chapter Care's operational performance as standards and quality of care are under constant review via NDHT.
Chapter Care attends a monthly Locality Management Board meeting to review its previous month's performance against agreed NDHT standards and targets and where necessary action is agreed and then reviewed at the next meeting.
Should our standards of care or operational performance fall below the agreed standards then our contract with NDHT could be withdrawn!
Chapter Care undertakes an annual Service User Satisfaction Survey to gain feedback from our Service Users to confirm we are continuing to deliver their specific care requirements.
Our Care Supervisors have a monthly quality assurance meeting with all Service Users to check on the quality and standards of care they are currently receiving and to discuss any changes to their care requirements that the Service User may require.
