How We Can Help

Adult Domiciliary Care

We can visit a client as many times as required to  undertake personal care, dressing / undressing, washing, cooking,  hoisting & lifting duties, safety check visits etc.

Palliative Care

We have specialist carers who are experienced with working with clients requiring palliative or end of life care.

Day Sits

Day Sits of any duration can be arranged to cover family or relatives who need a break from caring for a loved one.

Night Sits

Sleeping nights and waking night sits are a regular  requirement for some of our clients, sometimes as part of a respite break  for family members acting as carers.

24hr Respite Care

Care is available for respite, which can be for just a  day through to continuous 24 hour cover dependent on the circumstances.  One or more carers are available to cover.

Household Tasks

Cleaning visits, either as part of an overall care  package or just one off visits are available to cover full house cleans to general cleaning duties around the home.

Shopping trips, with or without the client, are  available to ensure the clients have the necessary food and household  items at home.

Handyman Service

We retain the services of a qualified Handyman who can  carry out small general duties such as attaching a new keysafe  container to the premises.

Social Visits

Many clients are on their own all day, so we offer a  social visit to have a carer spend time with the client, just to talk or  watch TV or play cards etc. Any visit duration is available.

Looking to regain your independence at home? Chapter Care can support you to live independently through an Enablement programme.

What is Enablement?

Enablement or re-enablement gives adults the opportunity and confidence to relearn and regain some of the skills they may have lost because of ill health, disability or after a spell in hospital.

Enablement is carried out at your home by specially trained enablers for up to a 6 week period. Equipment may be provided as part of the enablement service to promote independence. There is no charge for the service provided it is funded by Social Services.

Who is Enablement For?

  • You have had a spell in hospital and need to regain some of the confidence you have lost
  • You have been struggling to manage at home and feel you need some support to remain independent
  • You receive a long term service but your needs are increasing
  • There are particular goals you may have around improving your well-being
  • You are a carer who wants to look at ways to promote their well-being by supporting the person they look after to do more things for themselves

If you have any questions about Enablement or to discuss how it could work for you or a relative, please contact the office on 01271 378842 or via e-mail:
