Full/Part Time Care Vacancies

We currently have vacancies for full or part time care workers in and around Barnstaple, Bideford, South Moulton and Ilfracombe.

We are always looking for additional care staff to meet the rising demand for home care across North Devon.

  • No previous experience is required as full training and management support will be given to all Care Workers
  • Ideally applicants will have access to their own transport to meet the travel requirements associated with the job
  • Good hourly rates of pay with premium payments for weekend working. The more qualifications you have the higher the hourly rate of pay
  • We pay per shift rather than per visit and we also pay a good business mileage rate for those with their own transport

  • Payment for attending all meetings and training sessions

Bank Workers - Part Time

  • Chapter Care are actively seeking suitably qualified individuals who would be willing to be added to our register of individuals who are willing to be registered as a Bank Worker.
  • Bank Workers are individuals who have some spare time to assist with the day-to-day care activities supporting individual Service Users in their own home.
  • Bank Workers are not contracted for any specific weekly hours of work, but if registered, you would be forwarded via e-mail with a list of times and visits where we have a shortfall of cover due to sickness, holiday etc.
  • If you are willing to assist with these times and visits, these will be discussed with you prior to the visits and details of individual Service Users and requirements will be given to you.
  • Once registered you are under no obligation to accept any packages of care that are e-mailed to you nor will you be chased up to see if you can help if we don't hear from you.
  • Ideally applicants will already hold a CRB Certificate and will have a minimum Level 2 in Health & Social Care qualification.
